西山靖夫 Yasuo Nishiyama1947年生。京都における最高のシンガー・ピアニスト。1974年プロ・デビュー、1977年にはロサンジェルスで、ジミー・スミスと共演。自己の「スティル・ビ・バップ」を結成し、尺八演奏家川村泰山と個性豊かな「対偶」セッションをおこなう。京都の伝統的かつ有名ホテルのメイン・バーでソロ演凝をおこなうかたわら、「Nishiyama's Modern Profession」を主宰。ディナー・ショー、コンサート、アート・イヴェントをプロデュース。
